Regardless of what Blatter says, surely video evidence should be used to punish players who break the rules, specifically diving, using violence or horror tackles, whether the ref sees them or not.
I'm not having a go at refs, but in their position they cannot always see everything and if they report seeing an incident then the FA can't look into it. Excuse the simplistic view but surely if you have conclusive evidence of a player diving, punching someone or a malicious tackle they should be banned.
What do you say?
