Will it look modern in 15-20 years time though or will it be an eye sore?
I've heard a description of apparent leaked pictures of the new anfield and it doesn't sound like this. This actually looks alot like Valencia's new ground, and could be that. And Stanley Park is ALOT bigger than the Stadium and the Stadium is going to take up probably less that a quarter of the park if not alot less, there would be no way that the Stadium would be able to stretch the length or width of the park like this picture suggests with the roads either side.

Here's the alleged plans that are being unveiled shortly to residents of Kirkby. Not revealing much to be honest at all, but at least it shows hopefully we will be seeing detailed plans in the coming weeks.

it's suppost to be heavily influenced by Cologne's stadium which the leaked palns seem to go along with, imagine this in blue, and bigger, would be excellent, a real football stadium:
