Smoking Ban Legality Challenged

Legal challenge to smoking ban - Yahoo! News UK

Campaigners for the right to smoke are launching a High Court challenge over the Government's smoking ban in enclosed public places.

==================

I don't think they will win, they are putting the health of other people at risk. I'm personally not that bothered as its part of the atmosphere. It will be weird going to pubs and night clubs with no smoke anywhere!!!!

Only wearing clothes for 2 days is classed as extreme hygiene over there matey.

Well I think so many pubs should be allowed to be designated no smoking places. Surely it should be up to the owners to decide whether you want to be smoking or no smoking!! Madness really.

I'm not bothered either way, but it would be nice to not stink or smoke and to not breath in the dirty smoke!!

Yes definitely. But at the end of the day, people know pubs are smoky environments!! So its their own choice to go into the pubs. I know all pubs well 99% of them allow smoking so its pretty hard at the moment to find a pub with no smoking.

But come Sunday it will be very easy to find no smoking pubs!! It shouldn't hit your pub that much as in Scotland it hasn't affected the business that much, tha same with Ireland.

I've heard that it hasn't hit businesses that much!! I must have been listening to Radio 1 where the news is well, tailored to tell us what we want to hear.

I'm honestly not sure lol.

I always believed the news until the Iraqi wars started. Not I take it all with a pinch of salt.
