Should gay men and women serving in the British armed forces be allowed to wear their uniform at the up coming Gay Pride marches?
Personally, being in the Navy, I don't have a problem with them attending the marches but due to the tradition and values of the Navy I don't think they should wear their uniforms.
It is stereo typing the Navy and the other forces with a gay tainted name!!! It should not be allowed.
Would the navy let me go to a KKK party in my uniform?
I doubt it.

i think the kkk´s opinions are more extreme than the ideas of the gay´s!!!

Anyway I agree with you, nothing wrong with having a march, but gay rights has got absolutely nothing to do with the forces so they shouldn't wear it.

There's no rule against wearing uniform in public normally, we're just advised not to because of the terror situation.
I'm pretty sure you're not meant to wear it on political marches though, suppose it depends whether the RN sees it as a political issue. The Army and RAF have refused permission for their uniform to be worn.
Remember when was doing CCF back in the day we werent allowed to wear our uniforms in 'public'

I hate the ones who are so camp and gay in public!!Like a post i made in another thread about the faggots in the pub,they was repulsing the normal people,so i had to put them right I got them out of the pub, when an old couple sat down to eat and i could see they were sickened by the loud faggot behaviour that was just too much!!.I dont go to a pub to put up with that!!

doesnt bother me if they wear them tbh, but im still on the fence about homosexuals being in the forces anyway.
got nothing against em, but when you have to make quick changes in front of eachother, its a bit distracting when there's someone else in the room who could possibly be attracted to you watching you undress.. after all that is the reason why men and women dont change together..
