There is a lot of transfer talk at the moment, the same teams seam to be linked to the same players all the time, Middlesbrough, Manchester City and Newcastle seem to after the same players. A lot more foreign players will be in the league this season, but will this make the league better or worse?

With the likes of Nani, Tuncay, Anderson and Pizarro the league will have a lot more flair and skill to enjoy. But on the downside we have also lost one of the best players to play in the Premiership, that being Henry.

What is certain though is another action packed season, full of drama, incidents bad decisions and what not. Hopefully it will be more than a 2 horse race, Liverpool are looking ever more likely to be in with a better chance of winning the league, but with Uniteds signings, they have to be favourite.

thats wishful thinking Simon.

I cant wait for the new season, although we are still technically managerless, at lest things are moving forward at City.

There does seem to be more transfers. I think Chelsea will make more, they have only got frees so far. I think if Torres goes to Liverpool they will definitly want to go for the title. s

I think it's the first season where people have actually realised that it will be a two horse race. Last two seasons people have expected Chelsea to dominate then the season before Arsenal were dead certs for the title.

I think last season showed why the EPL is one of the best leagues in the world, the consistency of both United and Chelsea was phenomonal and it's no surprise we got 3 teams to the semi finals of the CL (even if we didn't win overall)
