This post was inspired by Worshipme after reading her review of the Lostprophets gig:

Well I was going to watch Noel Gallagher, so I knew it was going to be good. But it was better than that, it was fcking amazing!

The gig itself was at 'The Lawry' (I think that's how it's spelt), which is a gallery/theatre place in Manchester. There was only about 400 people there aswell.

For you Oasis fans when we went to collect our tickets a couple of hours before the gig my dad spotted Digsy, who had the song 'Digsy's Dinner' written about him on Definately Maybe.

The songs Noel and Gem actually did were quite an unusual bunch but they were class all the same. This was the set list:

I think it was either the 1st or second song was dedicated to ex-arctic monkey Andy Nicholson who I saw on the way out of the gig but it didn't click at the time. I was standing right next to him!

Also just before leaving the lowry I thought it was a great oppurtuinty to grab myself a piece of memrobilia. So I grabbed myself one of the posters off of the wall. I carefully took it off to minimize creases and rips. After succsesfully stealing it and checking no security was around. I walked out the centre with a rather large smile on my face until I bumped into a security guard who took it off of me. :(

Other than that it was like the best thing ever! :)

Exactly, I mean if I had that framed and on my bedroom wall I'd be so happy... But the 'man' took away my piece of paper... :(
