======================
So he is a West Ham player and they want to keep hold of him? Hmmm, he has 3 years left on his contract. Music be the MSI people who probably still own him that want him to move on to a bigger club.
This would be a great signing but for £40m? They mention a possible loan deal which would be better than wasting £40m which we dont have. This season will be quality.

Tevez to Utd?? who will he be giving a seat to on the bench?? Rooney...Saha??? Most likely Saha who has been losing his quality as a striker
If he does eventually sign it will be strange.....we cant play the 4-5-1 or 4-3-3. Im not sure who will be dropped..Hargreaves, Carrick?

Unless they ditch Saha first, I don't see this happening.
Would make an ideal replacement for Henry at Arsenal but I doubt Wenger has £40m to spend. Ferguson on the other hand probably does...
he will be very good at man u
hi histon
why will he be good at manu?

Er no. He's been injured.
Tevez would be some kind of mental dream if he signed.

Man United are really going for it this year. Tevez would be a great addition.

Apparently he's going to be on a 2yr loan:
The quotes below are from Middlesbrough FC || Boro news, reviews and comment (http://www.comeonboro.com) and are EXACTLY how I feel about this whole corrupt affair:
The whole thing shows how corrupt this whole affair has been Tevez was a sensation at west ham so why would they then loan him out (if they own him as they now claim) for no money and toa fellow prem rival so they lose their best player make no financial gain on the deal and and strengthen a fellow prem side err yes ok that sounds a good deal.
If the FA had any balls they would kick out both tevez and mascherano and impose a life ban joorabchan and his ilk, tell me again their is third party owned players in the prem,

Its been one dodgy transfer fo him, i dont get the loan think maybe its to cover there backs.
He is really funny looking anf thats all i see when i think Teves.
Well Mascherano managed to go on loan to Liverpool without fuss so I don't see why the Tevez will go any different. It's just the FA desperately scampering to save the little face they have left.

Liverpool just do what they like. They asked fifa for special dispensation to sign him as the rules stated they couldn't but as always with Liverpool they wrote a letter and hey presto FIFA let them have him, just like they changed the rules for the Champions League so the winners would play in next seasons league.
fergie says the deal is almost complete:

And Dwight Yorke and david May believe we'll be be unstoppable if we sign tevez.

Manchester United may have to be patient in their bid to sign striker Carlos Tevez from West Ham United, BBC Sport understands.
I do hope Tevez comes to Man Utd especially for 40 Million.:thumbup1::eusa_clap:
especially 40million? Are you implying that it's a good price?

Yeah why wouldn't it be?

more good news, we can let saha go now, he does my head in, never really been out and proven himself
Wouldn't that be a club record? I mean Tevez is a great player but played well for a side who just avoided relegation. I think he'll do a great job for United but £40million even in today's market is a huge amount.

He is a good player BUT the players around him at West Ham made him look a lot better than he really was. He was totally relied upon at West Ham so if he was playing in a United team I think he would look pretty average. Not worth £40million.
He's played well for Argentina though, he'll do well at United imo

Well im going to wait and see. only 31 days left till the season starts. Well 31 days and 21 hours.
Yeah why wouldn't it be?
Well first off he isnt worth £40m and that is money we dont exactly have. I'd rather have the 2 year loan and then sign him permanently.

This is good news for us, but i dunno if it this means the deal is actually any closer...what with the latest west ham saga.

I think you will still get him but your contract will be looked at very closely so that no third party will be involved.
When they sort out all the paperwork

Sheffield United lost their appeal today so they won't even get any compensation but i've seen sense and all they had to do was win their last game. I still think though, that West Ham should have been docked points.
I'm amazed at how far Sheff Utd have taken this as techniqually it didn't involve them at all. In most other sports I don't think it would have happened. Take F1 for example and look at the scandal there, if Ferrari and McLaren aren't docked all their points, BMW wouldn't be able to complain the FIA that they weren't, even though it would deny them (BMW) the championship. In theory they could take it to the high court but that would never happen, even if it was more blatant "cheating"

Sheffield United only took it this far as they thought the Premier League were too soft on West Ham and i'm in favour with them on this.
Well i think they should stop moaning - if nothing has happened so far it wont if they launch any more appeals like they say they are. Hopefully this whole tevez affair will be sorted soon and he'll be a Man Utd player.

I wonder how the new alegations of corruption in Brazil will affect the Tevez ordeal??? :eusa_think:
I wouldn't be surprised if this takes a little longer than people expect, might not even be done before the season starts. Ferguson will be desperate to protect his integrity and Man Utd simply can't afford to be getting into situations where they risk being docked points and you can be sure that the EPL will want to make ammends this time after criticism.
I expect Sir Alex to be very wary of this at the moment, I think he's a pretty dangerous player to be buying.
