The proposed/rumour move of Tevez to Utd. may hit a snag. If the league is not satisfied that the transfer fee goes to W.Ham then they will block the move.

this just gets more entertaining :hahaha:

Why wouldn't the transfer fee go to West Ham?

Surely it has too as they now own him and not MSI?

This is the worst cover up and disgrace I've known. So basically the Premier League still don't know if West Ham own him or not. This is pathetic.

League could block Tevez's United move | News | Guardian Unlimited Football (http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2120117,00.html?gusrc=rss&feed=7)

Another good article on this. And before anyone whinged :), its not boring, there is just nothing else to talk about at the moment. Here are some good snippets from the above article:

The only way West Ham and the companies Joorabchian represents may avoid the courts is if a negotiated settlement can be reached. The Premier League will permit the club to share a transfer fee with MSI and JSI but West Ham would have to secure a fair market rate for themselves before forwarding any surplus

The player's handlers insist the old agreements are still enforceable and that they entitled West Ham only to a one-year loan for Tevez. They claim any attempts to prevent his move to Old Trafford will be an actionable restraint of trade.

It seems very very complicated, one thing I can say is that it looks like MSI haven't ended the contract. So the contract is still valid so he's LEGALY still owned by MSI as they haven't ended the contract.

Look at it this way, when you get a mobile phone contract, its for say 12 or 18 months, you can't just cancel it? Even if you say you have, if they don't cancel it then its still a valid contract.

So they got Teves for nothing, now they are going to sell him to United and get £20 million for him and give nothing to MSI!!! Hmm, I don't think MSI will be happy with that.

This is quality. When/If Man Utd buy him, they are going to see that the money is gonna go back to MSI and West Ham will surely get relegated. There is no other option this time.

Nah they won't relegate them, they come up with some other excuse!! Well they don't want to hurt the fans feelings. Anyway I think Sheffield United have realised that they are playing championship football next season.

They will definitely have to relegate them. They know people won't stand for stupid fines again.

I think everyone knows they have not torn up that contract. If they had of done then the Premier League wouldn't be threatening to block the deal.

Its all makes sense now, Favouritism to the Southern Teams

That's exactly what it is.

Boro players ill, asked for match postponement = Docked 3 points.

West Ham - 2 illegal players = Fined :boat:

People wonder why i'm pissed off about it and find it a complete injustice. I'm afraid we will never get to know what really has gone on. West Ham have broken the rules, only just survived when they should have been deducted points. Shocking really considering what has happened to other clubs who have had illegible players.
