Icon19.gif Man Utd The New Chelsea

For the past few seasons everyone's been afraid of Chelsea as they've signed some of the best young English talent and some of the best foreigners ie. Drogba, Cech, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard etc, but for me now United have taken over that. Some of the players they have bought this summer are top class, especially if the Tevez loan deal goes through and they will be around for seasons to come

But do this mean Teves will be under 3rd Party owership? With MSI, West Ham and United owning him?

Their midfield and attack will look very strong also next season, whereas in past seasons going to Old Trafford or t them coming to your ground wasn't daughting

1)Frank Lampard signed about 2001.
2) United will be loaning from MSI, West Ham will have nothing to do with it
3)Man United will never ever be the "new chelsea"

Oh so that will be 3rd party dealings again. Just as it still is with West Ham, even though they have torn up the contract with MSI, they now have a quality player, worth millions, but they deicide to loan him to United and not make any money from this.

Ha ha ha, the game is so corrupt.

Ok your not the new Chelsea, your the new West Ham

Manchester United will always be Manchester United. Others can only aspire to be us.

He has never been West Ham's player. It's all face saving.

We all know he's never been West Hams. I would never want to aspire to Manchester United. You've won nothing.

When you've won the league cup yeah haha:

Ok, ignoring the "new chelsea" bit.

Our squad is amazing now with the signings, which have also added good depth. if tevez goes through it will only get better. Giggs, Scholes, nani, ronaldo, rooney, tevez, carrick sounds good to me.

Isn't that what we all though when Chelsea where signing all these quality player. Fergie is going to have to do a hell of a lot of rotation and this will disturb the team in my opinion and cause unrest like it has done with Chelsea.

I'm sure players would rather start every game they possibly can rather than every other game. But this is the way it was to be when your a well established team winning the title and going far in the cups.

Whatever happens its going to be a good season.

Nani and Anderson will be more bit part players.
We'll see Hargreaves/Carrick Scholes in midfield depending on the match with Carrick probably phasing out Scholes eventually. Giggs and Ronaldo wings.

Alternatively,
-----------Carrick --- Hargreaves----Scholes------------

--Ronaldo---------------------------------------Tevez---

------------------------Rooney-----------------

Well i don't think nani and Andersen will walk straight into the team, they'll be like Ronaldo was.

ive got...van der sar, rio, vidic, neville, evra, scholes, giggs, carrick/hargreaves, ronaldo, rooney, tevez in a 4-2-2. Tbh I dont have a clue whats gonna happen.

Edit: kiko's team looks good, and you could play Giggs in the centre too who was amazing when he was put there in 2005-2006. But, I think Giggs is too valuable to just drop.

Even thats only 6 players you put on a possible line up, that does look awsome, I tell you what, you should have an amazing season this time around, if you get any injuries then you should be ok as your squad depth is deep!! You have to win the league with them players really.

And dont forget our back 5 were all in the PFA team of the year. Backup for VDS is Foster (could be out for a while tho) and we just signed Kuszczak. It will be an amazing season and if we f*ck up then well....

Definitely Man Utd are turning to ''the new chelsea''. I mean who would spend such money on a player like Hargreaves who I think will be a big big flop for Man Utd caus he'd probably get fedup as Carrick will forever be on the field and Hargreaves would be keeping the bench warm. Secondly Tevez! I remember reading in the papers 38 million pounds or something so but to be in the region above 30 million...how can you not be the ''new chelsea''.
