We have a few Arsenal fans on here. How do you think your season will go since you told Henry? Who are going to be your best players? Who are your new signing and who else do you think you will sing with the money from the Henry sale?

What position do you think you will finish?

Hope they finish top 3 instead of the scousers, but 4th again seems more likely - can't quite see Spurs getting there.

I think Arsenal will do better than last season. Don't see them winning the title, so second is my opinion.
The transfer of Henry will allow for the youngsters to shine, they are no longer under Henry's shadow. Persie will shine, and signing of the year will be da Silva.

May still need to get rid of Senderos

On there day there as good as anyone, I mean they beat the champions twice last season and didn't lose to Chelsea either. The reason they didn't do better last season was consistency and that's probably be the reason they dont get top 3 this season.

I wouldn't say mid table, probably 5th or 6th!!

Will be good to see another team taking their place.

PFFT, did we forget a when you lost Nistleroy and Beckham, where you were? Every team has its high and lows, you can't stay champions forever :)

I think we will push on more this season than what we did last season. With lost Henry, fine, but we've got replacements to cover the position. We have a fit squad again and hoping they all stay fit I'm sure you'll see us pushing the top 3.

They haven't properly replaced Henry though imo

I agree, but who is to replace Henry?

I'm kind of settled on the fact that we have RVP, whose established himself in the Premiership for a few years. I feel within 1-2 years we will have the power to fight properly for the title, we're getting there.

I thought they might go an get Tevez on loan but the situation is pretty complicated and they probably couldn't afford £40m that it's costing, plus Tevez wouldn't want to just got there for one season if he could play for longer at United.

You could always try out Saha :nodyes:

Atleast you can tell the difference of your not Premiership contenders yet, others seem to forget that bit :nodyes:

In the long-shot Henry's no big loss is he? He played what, 10 games last season. You still managed it, in the long run next season you'll be shit (hopefully:nodyes:) but you'll end up coming out good.

Not good enough considering Berbatov has already started the complimenting of Man United. But I'd take 5th again :thumbup1:

I think we will do better this season as it goes on
Last season all you heard was the great potential we had in our young team this season I believe we will see the realisation of that potential and get a place in the top 3

Top 4, but not champions. I certainly think the team will make the CL again for next season and put up a good fight on the home front. It's a building year, with lots of new talent, so I don't expect miracles.

A lot of youth and relative inexperience out there for the Gunners this time. And you don't just replace a player like Thierry Henry. Still, I think Arsenal will do quite well this season and finish 5th behind Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. :thumbup1:

Haha, Robbo (a spurs member) will like your thinking! :nodyes:

Looking at the squad now, we have some youngsters in it and like RIAG said, this season will generally be a build of experience and time for the team to gel with each other.

As much as I'd like us to finish 1st, with a possibility that we actually have a concrete strike force, we certainly can put away alot more goals than we did last season.

The squads morale is said to be very high, which is a positive and always helps in a match, whether its against Man Utd or Sunderland.

I'll be happy if we get some silverware and hopefully see a young squad blossom.

It will be interesting to see how everything plays out for Arsenal over the next few seasons. I have to give Wenger and his scouts credit for having a keen eye for talent and the guts to go with such a young squad. It's always a bit of a gamble to go that way, but I have to admit Arsenal has a chance to build something first-rate in the next few years. It should be an interesting battle around the top for awhile. Chelsea, United and Liverpool certainly aren't going anywhere. And I'm confident that Spurs are ready to step right into the fray. So it's going to be a five-team battle -- at the very least -- for those top four spots. Should be a lot of fun!

Can we challenge for the title?

I think we can, we have a fantastic young squad, capable of winning any competition,Yes, We have lost experienced members of the squad, Henry and Ljuingberg have left and we haven't exactly found big replacements but as we have seen with Manchester Utd last season when they lost RVN, They won the Premiership, I can't do an estimate of where we finish because i could be completely wrong, i think this season will be the best Premiership we have ever seen because this time Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea will all be challenging...

I don't think a title charge is in the cards this year. I think that 3rd or 4th is realistic and I think the team will finish the same as last season, 4th.

The team has a problem with smaller squads. When they play Chelscum or Man U they bring out the best and put on a real show, but then go out the next week and drop points to Villa or Pompey. That inconsistency will doom them again this year, as it did last.

Champions League football and a top 4 performance, but no title, not this season.
