United Set To Land Brazilian Starlet

Manchester United are on the verge of snapping up another Brazilian starlet after agreeing a deal for Internacional's Rodrigo Possebon.

The 18-year-old is relishing the chance to move to the Premiership and team up with his compatriot, Anderson.

A deal of around €3.5m has been agreed with Internacional after United opted to make their move after watching Possebon for two years.

He first came to their attention during a Nike tournament and will look to introduce him to English football step-by-step next term.

"It is the fulfilment of a dream," Possebon told Zero Hora. "I am going there to play with Anderson."

United have already snapped up Nani from Sporting Lisbon, Anderson from Porto and Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich.

Negotiations over the transfer of Argentinian international Carlos Tevez have stalled after questions over who will receive any transfer fee were raised.

The Red Devils have released Danny Rose, Floribert Ngalula and Phil Marsh.

It's not that much!! I've not heard of him to be honest. I was watching the u-20s world cup and a Brazilian called Lima stood out from what i saw. Hopefully these Brazilians won't be as bad as Kleberson!

Well with all the players you have bought, I can't see anything else other than another title for United and even the triple again.

You forgot Richardson, but to be honest I'd rather see him left off the list. That team looks QUALITY. It looks like we can cope with any injuries, each position has amazing backup.

Brazil in general sucked at the U-20 World Cup, they lost out in the group stage... And Possebon in particular was abysmal, hopefully he doesn't play like that for Man United.

Yeah I left him off with Silvestre and Dong. Dong has been shocking when I've seen him :nodyes:
The midfield which people said was our weak point in the last few years looks exceptionally solid now.

Don't be stupid.

Chelsea have strengthened in key areas ie defence and strikers were they were lacking last season. They weren't far off.

And United won't play all these players in the same team at the same time. If anything you'll see Hargreaves and Tevez if he comes the majority with Anderson and Nani used more sparingly.
