They have bought Benayoun and Babel whom are quality players. Do you think Liverpool can challenge for the title this season or are they not deep enough as a team? I personally think they will finish 3rd or 2nd this season. Probably 2nd, I'm not expecting Chelsea to have a good season.
No, i think the gap between the top 2 and 3rd/4th is still large. liverpool just aren't a consistent team, but these new players are quality. I'd say 3rd again.
Man Utd weren't a particularly consistant team season before last and then look what happened, you didn't really have any bad run.

With the marvelous signing of Fernando Torres whom I think will be a hit man in the premiership, I think we can give Utd and Chelski a run-in for their money

they will finnish 6th or 7th maybe lower, they let good players go, not taken any on as good, i cant see them doing much
Think Arsenal are going to surprise everyone, no Henry will take the pressure off and I wouldn't be surprise if they beat Liverpool.
1. Manu
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool

Well the previous league titles were won before our season even started. chelski and arsenal were probably the most consistent teams theres ever been. We did lose alot of games in which we should of won and dropped lots of points at home in that period. last season is what consistency needs to be in the Prem these days

I think they'll finish higher than Arsenal, you lot are in a downward trend.

well I have known you long enough to know that you only post things like this to get the threads going, somewhat like me when I chat shit to get the members wound up so they post more :)
But I know you would love just about every player we have in your squad.
Step back and see this
Lehmann
Sanga - Toure - Gallas - Clichy
Eboue - Gilberto - Fabregas - Rosicky
Eduardo - van Persie
thats with out
Denilson
Djourou
Walcott
Diaby
and others.
Plenty of quality in the squad
and when you think last season we had henry and persie out most the season and we had many injuries to most players at some time and also lost key players to the african cup we didnt do to bad. Pool beat us with a full squad most the season by one goal.
Aslo had to get used to the new stadium.
We're better than many are making out.

Yeah you have a great squad but Lehmann is a dodgy keeper. Is that just 1 Englishman in your squad? I don't know what it is, I just have a feeling that you won't do as well as you have been doing. For definite I think Tottenham will overtake you. They have made some good signings and they are on the up, getting better and better.

Whats English man have to do with anything? Look at all the best players in the prem and you will see most if not all are not English men.
Maybe thats why boro aint ever been good, too many engish players.

Think we'll second, I would take third if it meant the difference between the top three was 10 or less points. We need to challenge for the title this season but I don't think we'll win it.
To ask a team from third position to gon and win the title the following season is a massive ask and means a huge change in the mentality of the team ,who was the last team to go onto win the title after they finished third? I can't remember
