is it one of those things where they put money into your account, you take it out and wired it elsewhere? if so, its a scam.

here is the first search result from google (http://www.bluetack.co.uk/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t14846.html)

It doesn't seem the most professional e-mail, and large parts are not written in Standard English, which you would expect from a large company.

I'd certainly at the very least make some enquiries first, maybe to Monster?

Look at that, they try to make people think it's real with the links since all pages are hosted on they server and you actually don't get redirected to the actual article.

i was about to point that out.
even if you go to bbc news or the guardian and use their search engines, you won't find the supposed articles.

Looks like you're right to not believe them, even the so-called BBC article isn't written correctly.

Yeah I did email them with some questions, but I got aload of shit:

Hello,

My name is Craig Thomas and I have recently recieved an email saying that I had been offered a job as an Accounts Assistant. I would just like to ask if this is actually true? Since I recieve alot of spam email I don't know what emails could be real and what could be fake. Just incase I have actually been offered the job I'd like to ask some questions.

Do you have a base in Midddlesbrough? Since it is where I live I'd like to know.

Also, since I am a college student, would I be able to work around college hours?

Thanks,
Craig Thomas

Dear Craig,

Thank you for your invaluable response to our job offer. This offer is absolutely real. While our main office is located in London the offer itself currently extends to nationwide, you will not need to relocate anywhere, at least not in the beginning. Unfortunately at this point we do not offer any specific training for the position, but rest assured we will, of course, help you as much as we can in managing this job properly.

You will have to work remotely (at home), at least in the beginning (for the first 3-6 months), later on you will be interviewed and may get promoted to analyst, manager or administrator and offered a full time office position, but everything depends on your initial performance. One of the hardest parts of the job - timings are not exactly known. You will need to make sure you have few hours daily to spend on the company's tasks.

I have attached a position's guide and a set of frequently asked questions for your consideration. You can as well download a copy of the contract from http://www.futureccl.com/documents/aa/agreement_aa00591.doc

At some point you may start to think performing this job is easy, but you are, unfortunately, not exactly correct. Promptness and accuracy are required of you, and as our past experience has shown not so many people have what our company needs.

If you would like to ask anything specific please do not hesitate, we are always happy to assist you. 'Do not hesitate, be specific' is the motto we would like you to employ dealing with our support.

If you are satisfied with the position please reply to this e-mail to get a full application pack and further instructions on how to proceed. Thank you again for your interest and trust you put into our company.

Sincerely,
Charles Ward.
