Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has ruled out the possibility of defender Gabriel Heinze coming to Anfield and it is believed that Ferguson will not sell any players to one of the clubs fiercest rivals

I personally would have liked to have Heinze as he is good cover at the back for riise or even aurelio but an interesting fact is that there has only been one deal between Man Utd and Liverpool in the last 44 years (still trying to figure out who that was). But I belive he'd most likely move to a Spanish club

Its bad business selling your decent players to your main rivals for the title. Even though Liverpool have no chance of winning the league, this year.

I liked Heinze but he got injured a couple of times and he hasnt recovered that well. Still, I'd rather have him over Silvestre, we should be selling him instead of gabby imo.

I still think we have a chance of getting him ,atlhough I don't think we'll get him untill the last possible date. This whole episode has shown slur alex to be petty, childish and bitter.

7 million for a player they don't want and some don't rate is good business, there doesn't have to be all this shite to go with it.

Our long term future in that position is emiliano insua, bring heinze in and then let insua take over eventually is what rafa is thinking.

The funniest was slur alex saying Liverpool were opportunistic and think he's our player....pot,kettle and tevez anyone?
