was there a football club called the 'Old Firm?'
Ridiculous, Celtic and Rangers are two separate teams and there shouldn't be this constant 'Old Firm' tag.
I'm a Celtic supporter, not an 'Old Firm' supporter and Celtic and Rangers should have separate sections like other teams on this forum.
I for one am sick and tired of this. When Rangers supporters are in trouble or the team, it's always an 'Old Firm' problem to bring Celtic into the equation and I believe that Rangers fans may agree also that they are a victim of this tag.
I may not have been on here for a while, but it was much better when Celtic and Rangers had separate sections. :animatedfear:

They should start making the sections for the 'Meseryside' and 'Manchester' and 'North London' and so on.
Three admins who are English football fans, not a surprise really.
The rivalry between Celtic and Rangers is much more divided than the likes of Liverpool and Everton and it's about time people started to realise this in England. The rivalry goes much further than just a football match between the two teams. When we see the avatars and signatures, this is clearly evident and it often relates to politics.
If you don't agree on politics, how the hell can you get along easily?
If we wanted to talk about the 'Old Firm', we'd bugger off to the 'Celtic fans v Rangers fans' forum.
Anyway, my point was made ages ago, so I'll stop now.
I just don't understand what the administrators aim to achieve by combining two teams and it seems like they are pushing Scottish football and its supporters to the side yet again.

We agreed to have an old firm forum for some strange reason, over a separate Celtic and Rangers forum. I can easily create two seperate forums if you lot want it. Its got nothing to do with the three admins being English either!!

I didn't aim to offend. I was born in England and have spent most of my life there.
I simply suggested it was a lack of knowledge which lead to a combination of the two teams.
I don't want to spend my time agreeing with Super Ally, so yes, I'm all for two different sections.
I believe it should go to a poll for all users of this section though and not just my opinion. Start a thread with a poll in the 'Old Firm' section to determine whether we keep an 'Old Firm' section or two separate sections.

For a while we had no club forums at all.Theyve been added slowly, the latest being spurs.

Yup, I think the reason this one was added was because there wasn't enough members who supported the teams to have separate forums?
