Just out of interest, who are your favourite Scottish teams.
Obviously, my favourite is Celtic, but due to my family living in Coatbridge, I will pay the small fee to watch Albion Rovers when not watching Celtic as they are my local in Scotland.
Gretna, a small club who have got to the SPL in 3 seasons from the 3rd division. I alwasy like to see them do well :)

They're also your local Scottish team. :nodyes:
Or you could claim it was Berwick, but as Super Ally says, they are a foreign team playing in the Scottish league. Oh no, they're part of Britain, so it's all the same. I give up... :animatedfear:
Anyway, it's only money that has got Gretna so far. I wont slate that as I would be happy if a rich person decided to take over Albion Rovers.

I don't mind Hibs, guess they would be my fav scottish team. I also check out Montrose every once and a while. I do enjoy looking to see if Elgin ever win because their so bad.

I've heard that Virgin Media cable customers will get setanta as part of the basic package. Which I hope is true.
East Fife. Always look out for them on the betting slip!

Was there any negative reaction when they moved to Cumbernauld? Sounds a little bit like the MK Dons move.
Greenock Morton for me, my Grandad served up there during the War.

There was some from the hardcore support. But they had been nomads for so long they needed a permanent base. Unfortunately Cumbernauld hasn't really taken to them in any great numbers.

I don't get to see much Scottish football, but I kind of like Hibs. Being half-Irish, I like the Irish connection, but without all the sectarian nonsense that goes along with Celtic and Rangers.
My mom doesn't really follow the sport, but she's a bit of a Rangers fan. She lived in Scotland for a few years in the early 70s and was mainly among Gers fans. (The sectarian crap was really awful back in those days though.)

I went to school with a lad called Roddy Stewart, he was from Stirling and followed their results. Roddy used to come to a few Leeds games with us before he moved back to Scotland.
One of the all time Leeds United legends and Leeds United's greatest captain, Billy Bremner, was born in Stirling.
I used to love The Beano. Three reasons really.
Never seen them play, always said that I would take a few of their games in on a visit to Scotland.
Might make it one of my New Year Resolutions for 2008:thumbup:

I guess I don't really have a favorite Scottish team. I think I've got to find one, so I can start to contribute to conversations about the league.
