West Ham have completed the signing of Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg, BBC Sport understands.
The Hammers will unveil the 30-year-old Sweden international at a press conference at 1400 BST.
Been great for us but last season or so wasn't the players he once was.
Glad hes gone because now we wont be paying him such a stupid wage. :gaydance:

your happy he's gone and west ham are happy they got him, his wife will be happy cause she dont have to move house, everyones happy how good is that
Sad to see him go, been a legend since being with Arsenal. I feel hes past his prime so we would be squeezing the last bits of brilliance out of him, so its a smart move for us.
Good luck to him! :thumbup1:

did he ever fully recover from the foot injury... the one he got at the end of the 05/06 season and carried during the world cup?? I remember hearing that they had to drain his foot before every match during the WC :yikes:...
Anyway, he seems to be passed his prime by a bit. I'm sure he will do well at West Ham. Best of luck to him :thumbup1:
West ham are the new Chelski with all their money.
It's right pissing me off, specially how they just offer ridiculous wages to get players (i.e Lucas Neill)
Now THATS ruining football.
Thank you Arsenal.:thumbup1:

A legend indeed. But too many injuries and too unreliable the last few years. We have so much young talent in the midfield now that the older guard is going to have to gradually give way for the younger, more fit talent.
Despite not liking West Ham, I do wish him well for all his years of service.
