Both Man Utd. and W. Ham were eagerly awaiting FIFA's stand on the Tevez ordeal. However, FIFA was no help. They essentially passed it on. FIFA got back to the club an suggested that they take their claims to the the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
CAS was originally established to deal with cases relating to Olympic sports, but in recent years has heard cases relating to doping and football transfer disputes. The process may take weeks, although FIFA spokesman Andreas Herren stated the it would be "fastest way of resolving this matter."
So essentially FIFA is involved but obviously wants to be more a spectator than a participant.
If this takes too long, Tevez will continue being a Hammer this season. Unless his agent pulls him out of England :animatedfear:
