Have you made any decent signing? I don't really know anything outside of the Championship. Mainly because its not on the news about transfers. Also your CAPS LOCK seems to be stuck on, welcome to the forum and hope you stick around.

We signed Barry Conlon, Peter Thorne. Nathan Joynes,Thomas Harban, Paul Heckingbottom have all come on loan from Barnsley, Darren Williams, trying to get Paul Evans, and I think we got Kyle Nix on a monthly contract too. Looked good against Burnley the other night.

I think you might well have a decent season, and maybe a play-off place at the end of it.

Ah! Just the man.

Would you give a considered view of Ben Parker please?

I don't think they'll walk it, but they will get promoted.

I was happy to see just under 11,000 season tickets being sold.

That means about 13,000 at most matches.

Best of luck to City anyway. I was tempted to take advantage of their £138 season ticket offer, but ended up with a Celtic season ticket. :thumbup1:

Thats right Windy, just scrapped enough together to enable me to go and watch the Mighty Whites at Darlo tonight.

Poor lonely Windy, all alone in the North.

You were wearing that lovely red dress Windy, the one with the "I support Bristol City but never go" badge on.

Thanks for the 5p, you had obviously not picked up any clients that day. Mind you did look rough sweetie. Lonely Windy, looking for love.

Hope you have a good day bye bye for now.

I can see Bradford getting relegated to the conference, now that would be funny - Good luck on getting relegated, hope it happens :)

I can understand your comments Tom, the hatred between the 2 clubs is healthy.

But I would rather see Yorkshire clubs do well, even though it is Bradford City.

McCall is a Leeds lad, his Dad played for Leeds United in the 50's playing 62 matches for us. Wetherall still plays for them, remember his goal against the scum back in the 90's.

One of my mates is a season ticket holder there, the prices are well cheap, ensuring good attendances for them.

Is there any Bantams fans on this forum, if so is the Ointment still running, small band of handy lads, apparently.

Going down i think.

Hi TMC, I don't think they will.

Was listening to McCall in an interview, I think he will keep them up, I believe they will make mid table, may be wrong, we will see.

How about a friendly 500 point bet, I am sure those wonderful forum moderator people of ours could monitor the wager.

You on TMD.

What about Torquay, 0-3, back from the dead or what:nod:

First of all, I love it when I am proved right, Yorkshire confidence.

Secondly local hatred can be an healthy emotion.

But thirdly and by far the most important and serious aspect of the Bradford City experience is the totally absurd offer by a Halifax based company chairman, he has offered any Halifax based Halifax Town fan the offer of a discounted Bradford City season ticket next season.

The price of a Clty ST stands currently at £150 for next season, this offer stands until I think 16 July 2008.

But this guy has offered to pay £51 of the price to any Town fan, so for £99 a Halifax based resident would beable to watch City play in 23 league games.

Halifax Town may well go out of business, they are due to hear they appeal against the Conference ruling that the club is not eligible to play in their league next season due to the debt that the club is in.

The FA will decide next week on the outcome of the appeal.

Boston Uniteds appeal against their expulsion from the Blue Square North League will also be heard on the same day.

Now I hope that both teams appeals are successful, because the "TRUE FANS" of both clubs deserve to be able to continue supporting the club that they love.

Again mis management/heart over brain has put a clubs future in jeopardy.

Halifax Town founded in 1911 have a proud but mostly unsuccessful history. But I know a good few Town fans, I wish you well lads.

Their message to Bradford City is "up yours":nod
