Foeigners in the premiership? for or against?
without them football in this country would be no where near be asgood a level as it is now, but young english may get more of a chance with big clubs.
i say let the foreigners in, so we can see players with the skill of cantona, bergkamp, zola, henry grace these shores for many more years....:)
Yea foreigners should be allowed in, but I reckon there should be a limit to how many that play each game. I don't like how arsenal field a foreign 11 most games.

I vote for this thread to be moved to the English Premier League (http://www.myfootballforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4) forum. Given that this the site's feedback and support

moved as requested!!
The quality of the EPL is more important than the quality of the England football team. I watch it weekly for 35 odd weeks a year, whilst I watch the England football team for 4 weeks every two years. Enough said

Agreed, bring back the 3 in a team rule or whatever it was. Makes me laugh when people say "I want Chelsea/Arsenal to win the Champions League coz I always like to see English teams do well".
It would stop English players being so ridiculously overpriced as well. They're expensive atm because good English players (particularly young ones) are becoming a rare commodity due to the amount of foreign players taking their place in the team. More English players per team = more young English players coming through = more reasonable prices.
Does it really make a difference if they play over here or not? obviously if the English talent was flooding in over here, top teams like Chelsea and Arsenal would spawn young talent but if there getting there place taken, obviously that player is better suited than him, no matter if hes foreign or not.
I know a few of my friends will make it pro if not semi-pro in football, two of them are African and the other is English. Clubs focus more on the talent nowadays seeing as football in the EPL is moving fast.
