View Full Version : Utd sign up 9 year old whizz.
After his grandad sent Man Utd clips of him playing. heres a video: YouTube - Rhain Davis The Whiz Kids (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ_RS4Q1myc)
No doubt he looks a good player but he's only 9. You cant guarentee him becoming the next wayne rooney or even making the Premiership. Look at how many people were dubbed the 'next pele' etc. Still, best of luck to him.
He's awesome :)
Lets hope we get to see him (Y)

He's actually very quick as well. Watch out in five years to see if he turns out for England u16s.
His flow of football is very natural. Not many teenagers have that sort of ball control.
Another young prospect for England presumably.

In the paper it said his mum is English, not sure about his dad though?

On bbc it said it's because his Grandad is English (the one who sent the clips) and the lad has a British passport.

He doesn't look too bad, though all the press he's getting, he'll end up with his head up his own @rse by the time he's 12 so they might as well just forget about him for a few years yet lol.
Putting the label 'the next Wayne Rooney' is another thing above his head. Hes got something to live up to, could prove good but slightly more bad if he doesn't meet the standard of WR.
Got to give it to him, hes pretty decent for a 9 year old..
I didn't think they played full size pitches for 9 year olds. I agree with nafe though, if he doesn't live upto the hype he'll be a letdown.
He won't be.
You'll forget his name in a few weeks.

My thoughts exactly. He'l probably get roughed up in the english leagues an wont be able to cope.

How can a nine-year old be a wizz kid. I can remember playing as a nine-year old and i can remember it being quite pathetic with everyone running after the ball.

he's got good ball control, but if you look at teh quality of opposition, it may make him look even better, don't get me wrong he has obvious talent, but put him up against youngsters of a similar standard, and he'll find he wont be able to walk it round them so easily. Best of Luck to him
i think its stupid they sign up poor little 9 years old kid!!:nodyes:

If it was Sven, I would've said he got it for something backstage, but because its ferguson, its just so me old Scottish can throw a boot at him.
