I think that their best chance of doing so was last year. In my opinion they haven't really strengthened the team any. They will most likely make it to the group stages but I think that might be as far as they will go.

It will depend who you get in grp play and if you even manage to get out, then it would come down to who you get. I doubt it still.

I'm forever the optimist. Bring on all comers and see what happens is what I say. We are the people!

If the team isn't strengthened then what do you call Donati, Brown, McDonald and Killen .

The tie against Spartak will be a tough test.
I think we can make the quarter finals with luck being involved.

Brown - Not any better than Vennegoor when he's fit.
McDonald - We dodged a bullet there
Killen - ?????????????
Donati - Who? Not any better than what you have.

Donati and Brown have impressed during the close season. Killen has barely playe due to the injury he's carried over from last season and McDonald has shown he can score goals in the SPL. So I'd say that is strengthening.

Like I said before. None of these players (in my opinion) add anything more to what you had last season.
Strengthening the team means improving it doesn't it?

Strengthening is buying better than what you have already got, anything else is just boosting the squad!
