Lazio 1-2 Arsenal

Goals for Arsenal came from Bendtner and Eduardo, both of which lay a solid foundation of confidence for them to progress further with.

Bendtner settling in well, took his chance well and created a goal for his efforts.

Eduardo looks a very promising talent. His work rate was top notch and he looks an important striker already. Played as if he had no pressure on him (which is a start) and from an Arsenal fans point of view, we want to see alot more of him!

did you see the game? i was training yesterday, so never saw it, but apparently Senderos was captain and the 3 oldest out there at 22, and we still beat Lazio

Sendeross made a awesome save against one of the Lazio strikers (pandev iirc). Almunia went down and it was just Sendeross between him and the gaol and he tracked him down and stripped the ball and cleared it.

Edaurdo also scored his first gaol. Great header.

Twas a good game. Everyone played well again, I think from watching the football we play, you can see the confidence within the squad.

Bendtner looking better too. Eduardo looking very good.

What a great per season, The team looks hungry and willing to fight for their team mates. We never saw this with Henry in the side.
