Referees will review match footage and be able to punish players retrospectively if they feel they have dived or feigned injury.

I'm all for it. If it will make some of these guys think twice about diving or risk suspension, it will be good for the game. I'm in favor of video replay on goals too. :thumbup1:

Yeah, Drogba should be more like Ronaldo, huh? :nodyes:

he was a lot better last season and will be even better this, he is improving loads

I hope so! :thumbup1:

Of course it seemed like Drogba was better last year too. Hopefully both of them will someday figure out they're better off using their athletic ability to create something than to win an Oscar. :nodyes:

I don't think it will happen since FIFA are against it. They say it contradicts the rules of the game. The rule being that the referees decision is final and using this method would put this in doubt.

I say change the fucking rules!!

Yeah FIFA are pooping the idea, in fact I think they already squatted :nodyes:

I agree with the retroactive yellow cards that this would bring about. In no way does it mean it would alter the final outcome of a match. Besides, they only have to use the video for one or two months, players will get the idea that they can't get away with it and thus stop doing it altogether.

Football is an awful lot like baseball here in the U.S. Both sports resist change with the ferocity of a tiger. Sometimes it's difficult to convince the powers that be to enter the 20th century, much less the 21st! :yikes:

Well they were going to use Beta-Max but the company they got them from went out of business.

Players should get punished for diving and unfair play and if this causes less incidents or players get in trouble and action is taken then less incidents should theoretically happen

Im for using technology in the game but especially this type because I cant see any downside, its not undermining the ref its helping him
