We won today 2-0
Downing and Yakubu scoring for us.
I've just got back from it, our goals were alrite but the attendence was shit.
The Riverside has some new digital advertisements along the side of the pitch, there BLOODY annoying.

Wait, they've changed the type of ads now? Hmmm. Was it a good game?

First half was good, second was a bit boring. Boro seem to pass the ball allot quicker and complete allot more set pieces. IMO tuni salani (sp?) has organized the mid-field, he's a brilliant signing.
Quite a boring match. Some good passing about and some nice football. Tuncay made a couple of bad passes but other than that he was quality. Worked hard all the way till the final whistle.
Aliadiere didn't really produce anything and I can't really see him and the Yak forming a good partnership up front.
Young looked good and made some quality tackles. Liked getting right up the pitch aswell.
I was pretty shocked when Euell got booed when he came on. I know his shit but it's a bit shocking booing your own player when they are coming on.
Like Paul said, the attendance was shit. Just under 7000. I expected there to be a lot more with Tuncay, Aliadiere and Young making their home debuts.

Any idea why Young went off at half time?
And can you imagain what the likes of tucany and Alicaiere must of thought when they heard euall getting booed.

Why were they Booing him, thats shit, going to really give him confidence isn't it!!! Shocking really. You are supposed to go there and encourage your team on. Fair enough boo a player if they are playing shit, not just as they come on. Horrible little people booing!!!

Yeah I agree, I also think that the fans should get bhind southgate this season as he has done very getting the players in that he has. I read in the local gazette that not many season tickets have been sold which I think is shocking when teams like Sunderland were getting like 40k in the Championship.
Have you noticed Boro only seem to have a good game when the crowed is up and bouncin, if they want success then they need to turn up!

Yes i've noticed that. I dunno why the fans are staying away. The ticket prices have stayed the same for ages. £24 for the cheapest tickets. We need to start to get behind the team. I need talk, but when I get some money I will start going to the games again. I love Middlesbrough!!! :)
