Rangers are expected to be reported to the Scottish Premier League because of songs heard coming from their support during Saturday's game in Inverness.

Yes signing those songs is bad but least there not fighting like some of the European teams. It seams the British clubs get hit hard by officials and the foreign teams get away with a lot more.

The minority of Rangers fans who sing these songs are starting to really get on my nerves. They have told time and again about this sort of thing and already been fined by UEFA yet they still continue to sing that shit.
There going to mess our season up before long.

Not sure! Dundee Utd fans last season did try that after we had been fined by UEFA last season though. Nothing happened though, which was lucky.

They were singing the big lie, 'Big Jock Knew' for most of the match although they'll get away with that, they are only singing this song because they're so shite these days. It's especially sad after only a few days back Jock's wife died, but nothing will stop them.
My personal opinion is that both Celtic and Rangers supporters shouldn't be dictated to on which songs they are allowed to sing and aren't allowed to sing. I do however believe songs like the Big Lie and racist songs for example shouldn't be allowed. I always say let both teams sing what they want, but when you are accusing the dead of sick acts, I don't like it and this is simply taking advantage of my belief.
Anyway, 'fuck the Pope' was heard often enough yesterday and this may be what will get Rangers into trouble (if it does).
Nothing will happen to Rangers though....

You're not wrong. They then have the cheek to ask why there is no atmosphere in most stadiums in the UK.
Since the 'Sectarianism is such a big problem' started, the atmosphere at both Ibrox and Celtic Park has suffered severely. It doesn't help with the stewards at Celtic Park who are prepared to throw you out for singing the national anthem.
I'll be lucky if I sing one song today with a few other thousand. It's about time people started to realise the definition of the word, 'sectarian.'

I wouldn't necessarily claim the rivalry evolved around religious groups. It tends to be more political.
Celtic sing songs about Irish history.

This singing will never end will it, the kids coming into the game will be told by their dads or mams to sing a long and they will all find it funny. But deep down from a neutral point of view I think its sick the way you lot song all these songs. There is banter and then there is Celtic and Rangers fans going to far.

I have actually found that the worst of the sectarian singing or comments actually come from people who were born catholic but maybe married a protestant or vice versa. Its as though they feel they have something to prove.

i used toget it everyday from a guy at work ,Ignored the comments then started ignoring him he soon changed his tune thing is am his boss and i'll have crack as much as the rest but it was boring and he realized that he needed me more than i needed him as to say ,the banter nowadays is all lighthearted and good fun from both sides and never a slur on deceased people or disasters of any kind and we stick to the football only

Ive never socialised with a celtic fan,other than the one i employed as logistics manager.But i made it clear from the day i gave him the job ABSOLUTELY NO FOOTBALL TALK in any way shape or form.Even then it hasnt been socialising,its just i prefer whenever possible to have buisness meetings in the pub or restraunt rather than the office.
I feel its less intimidating for people on neutral ground...plus whatever i spend i get back on expenses. bargain.
