AZ Alkmaar boss Louis van Gaal has criticised Middlesbrough's efforts to sign Gretar Steinsson.

AZ played us on Saturday and van Gaal took time out to take a swipe at Boro.

"Middlesbrough's offer is nothing - £1million for a player like that amounts to a waiter's tip," quipped van Gaal.

Who is he? lol, were alright I think we'll be ok with the players we have now.

Well if this so called good player was playing in the pre-season friendly I think 1 million was a bloody good offer. I wouldn't of had most of there players my Sunday leuge team tbh.
