West Ham United have drawn Bristol Rovers away in the second round of Carling Cup, which will take place on Tuesday August 28, kicking off at 7.45pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Hammers striker Bobby Zamora completed his apprenticeship at the League One Club and is looking forward to returning to the Memorial Stadium.
"It will be very nice to go back there if I get picked to play," he said. "I obviously learnt my trade there and really enjoyed my time living in Bristol and playing for the Gas.
"I have not been back there to play since I left seven years ago so it will be nice to see if things have changed or not. I still make sure to look out for their results.
"I watched them in the play-off final and was chuffed to see them get promoted. All that being said, I will still be going there looking to win with West Ham.
"We want to win trophies and do well in all competitions and certainly don't want to go out in the first round."
