Leeds 4-1 Southend

Leeds scored three late goals to win their third straight game.

Alan Thompson opened the scoring with a free-kick but Adam Barrett equalised for Southend with a header after Matt Harrold's shot had been parried.

Leeds took the lead again after 85 minutes when Tore Andre Flo struck from 12 yards and Rui Marques then converted a corner from Sebastien Carole.

Jermaine Beckford then capped a fine performance with an 18-yard volley after a long pass from Tresor Kandol.

You read it right.. Leeds United 4 Southend 1!

Absolutely fantastic result, TBH I would have been happy with a draw, and so looked to be on the cards until Wise stuck Flo and Carole on. If they can have that kind of impact in every game we'll have no problems overcoming this disadvantage!

Still can't quite believe we scored four in a single game, been more used to conceding that many in recent years! The last time I can remember us really hammering someone was in the playoff season when we beat Plymouth 3-0 at their place and ripped them apart.

Also turns out we had the 4th highest attendance in the whole of England today (24036), who says Leeds fans ain't the best in the world :D

Quality, I'm really happy for you lot. If you play every game like you did on Saturday then you might even get promoted lol. Now that would be quality, a kick in the teeth and a big fuck off to the ******s who deducted you the 15 points.
