Explorer Restarts after I open My Documents - Tech Support Guy Forums (http://forums.techguy.org/all-other-software/580438-explorer-restarts-after-i-open.html)

My problem this time, is that whenever I try to open something that explores the hard drive like My Documents, my computer just removes my taskbar and icons, and after about a few seconds, comes back but without whatever I needed to open. I haven't been able to access these locations since. I have no idea what might be going on.

I'm going to try that fix when I go round to my parents as its my dads computer thats doing it.

Its still doing it.

When I click on My Documents, as the thumbnails are loading up, explorer.exe crashes and restarts, the tool bar goes and so do all the programs and icons, until it comes back on. The computer doesn't turn of, explorer just restarts. Its ok when I turn the thumbnail view off.

Any more ideas?
