Fulham don't have any fans that's why. Liverpool have a huge fan base across the country and the same way the Essex man utd fans are criticising fergie et al Liverpool fans are convinced that refs hate them. Then again which fan would say that refs aren't biased against their club?

They weren't complaining when he gave them a penalty for nothing against Sheff United were they?

Exactly, and I bet the ref in that game wasn't suspended for 1 game. I really don't like Liverpool.

Which time. Happened 3 times last season didn't it?

I don't think refs are biased at all, there hardly going to put their career at the stake because their gran once walked her dog through Liverpool. I just think sometimes if the ref is unsure he'll give the benefit to the bigger club, naturally.

Anyway he and the assistant referee at Fulham last weekend have been suspended indefinitely

the decision whatever way you look at it was diabolical, it wasn't even just one decision it was the whole game,he was inexplicably crap, lost control and gave essien two cards and didn't send him off.

It really was a disgusting performance by the ref.

Things don't even themselves out in chelsea vs Liverpool games in the league, they just don't.

Half of those cards we didn't deserve to get. It looked like a light breeze could of knocked Torres off of his feet.

he booked carragher for complaining about the penalty being given...turns out carragher was spot on, no going to take back the card, think he booked kuyt as well...not sure what for, it was fucking bizarre, but it was funny how all the refs incorrect decisions had a chelsea bias, it wasn't like he was even fair by being a **** for both sides.

they should have had a player sent off and they should never have had a penalty, talk about influencing a game.

still feels like we lost that game. On the positive side that finish by torres was brilliant...if thats a sign of things to come then I can't wait.

Carragher deserved the booking, the refs decision is final isn't it. Even if its wrong, you have to accept it and get on with the game.

Yeah, even I will say that it shouldn't of been a penalty. But I'll take it. :thumbup1:

But I think it is time to let it go. I'm sure you guys will have a great season.

Essien didn't get two yellows. It was Terry that go it, he didn't put the card away while pointing for the freekick so it looked like he was giving Essien the card.
Aside from that, I agree Styles had a bad game. He tried to establish control from the beginning but it backfired on him. As for the penalty call, it was a really bad one . As much as a mistake it was, it stands and Chelsea took it. Chelsea players knew they got lucky that's why they never complained when the so called 'incident' occurred. Hate to say it but it's time to move on, there are still 35 matches left to play.

Plus Liverpool have shown that they are a better team this season, compared to last. They will be challenging for the title

This does tickle me somewhat.

I don't remember such an attitude last year when Ronaldo played against you.

It was a fucking disgraceful performance by him even before the penalty decision which was just outrageous. You can complain about the wrong types of decisions, but when the decision is blatantly obvious, its just shocking.

discraceful refereeing. even without the penalty. too many cards. there is better ways to stamp your authority on the match. the thing that annoys me most is mourinhos cockyness, chelsea didnt deserve the point. i didnt even see any chelsea players appealing for it. i really hate the fact that the biggest talking point of the game is a referees decision.

I remember a few years ago Moyes was fined and I think given a one match ban for calling a referee a 'numpty' in a press interview. Why is Benitez being allowed to make comments like this int he media and not being dealt with byt he premier league?
