Still a young season but who do you think the Premiership is on the brink of showing major improvement?

You have Manchester United in 16th position with 2 points from 3 games and you have City and Wigan in the top 4. I doubt it will stay like this but its been an interesting start for some reason. Maybe its because of the weather.

it being like any other season... brilliant. I don't like the fact man u are in 16th but they will quickly sort it, the games so far have been full of fast, exiting football as always

Well the Tottenham game this weekend is a must win for both sides a lot balancing on this game and its only the 4th one.

oi dont bring climate change into this!!!

United with 2 points from 3 games, Ronaldo sent off and Rooney out for 2 months...can't get much better, until you think that Man City are top of the league and have just beaten them in the derby.

It is still early days though and you normally find the teams who are uncharacteristically at the top of the table are near the bottom at the end. It's normally Bolton who are top at this time of the year...dont think Sammy Lee will be lasting long.

Nah, Apparently spurs are not happy with Martin Jol. You can't blame the manager, its the players who are not performing.

Who picks the team though, the buck always stops with the manager when he's spent 40m. It's his fault if he's spent that much money on players and can't motivate them to perform.

its shaping up to be a great season. any season where city win the derby is a great one in my book. for me rob styles ruined what otherwise wouldve been a great weekend of football.

He's only human. There isn't any technology used in the game for him to use if he's unsure. Anyway if you really wanted to win, you'd have scored one more goal.

i wasnt tlking so much about the loss, more the fact that styles was the biggest talking point of the match, which anyone would agree, is not how we want to remember any match.

I've been very impressed with Manchester City. They've gotten in a bunch of players that almost no one knew about and they are having a great season. But I think that in a few weeks we will be back to the big four going at it with Man City in the mix.

Hi boro,

of course will be improvements. This happens at begin of the season, where team as Man Utd have to reach the end of the season so they get in shape later than smaller teams (see Sunderland, Man city)
