BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Man Utd | Ronaldo critical of 'unjust' ban (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/6956244.stm)
Hmmm...he got sent off for overreacting, straight red so why is the standard3 matches unfair?

He should learn to be more disciplined shouldn't he, deserves all he gets. Same as any other player who reacts this way.
i argee with his sending off he had intent to hit the player just didn't :animatedfear:

if he just got a week, it wouldnt have sunk in that he needs to control his temper, at least now he will think twice before being a twat...

so wait... what does that make gerrard ?
It was never a red in my eyes anyway. He barely touched him and the other lad knew exactly what he was doing.
HOWEVER, unless the media put up some massive justice campaign like say erm against Rob Styles then we won't see owt done.
Ronaldo off course is still the pantamine villain.
So why, against Boro is it a penalty because of intent even though he wasn't touched, yet when there is intent of hitting someone it's not a red card?

Because they have one rule for them and one rule for everyone else. Well that's what they hope but it doesn't happen. Don't get me started on Penalties and Ronaldo.

Apples and pears there.
I don't think there was intent on hitting him. He moved his head forward yes, he didn't butt him though.

To paraphrase someone
"it's happened in the past why can't he bloody move on!!!"

For once Alex Ferguson didn't stand up for Ronaldo like he did against the boro penalties.
"Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has offered little sympathy to the Portugal winger, saying he only had himself to blame for falling for what he described as Pompey's "intimidation tactics"
He deserves everything he gets.

Think ronaldo deserves it. Respect is important in the match.
