Players and managers always seem to be complaining when refs get it wrong, but if the likes of Ronaldo, Drogba, Gerrard, Rooney et al didn't spend their whole time trying deceive refs maybe their decisions would be a bit more accurate. I mean Gerrard was quick to criticise Styles, but how many times has he benefited from referees mistakes whilst diving?

Yes mate I agree with you. Sometimes referees are forced to go along with peer pressure from the players but it is something that faces most if not all referees today. Yes but dont blame Gerrard for such things as every player has a ''diving mind'' if you know what i mean. No player's mind is free from a ''should i dive'' thought. Drogba is the one that pusses like a little girl to all referees. Drogba and Ronaldo are the same in that sense and most referees are aware at that and would treat these players differently to another player unknown for such a reputation.

Yeah exactly. I mean if players were so concerned about the refs performance then why do every time the ball goes out for a throw-in will both players appeal, however blatant it is. I'm not blaming everything on Gerrard either...

Yeh i agree with you. Most players think they can get away with anything and have the audacity to try and con the referee but its good today to see most referees have none of it. Yeh Gerrard is a much fairer player than Drogba and Ronaldo whom I think are quality players but their whining and childish behaviours on the pitch really pisses me

To be fair they've both cleaned their act up alot and you have to give them credit for that. Two seasons ago, all Ronaldo did was dive and do ineffective step-overs. Drogba was the same, wasnt playing well and cheating left right and centre. Ronaldo then embarrassed himself at the World Cup, came back and despite being booed proved himself to be one of the best in the world, Drogba cleaned up his act and became top scorer in the premiership as well. Just shows...
