fabianski, will no doubt be our carling cup keeper, he is a international class keeper, so i hope he gets a chance too, but he's long term, as he's only 22

I'm more happy with this rather than being distraught about it. Lehman needs a breather and this coincidently falls in the very time he needs one.

I feel comfortable with Almunia taking his place and can personally see Lehman having to fight his way back in.

Almunia needs this too, his time to shine and play Premiership footie. Almunia has been about for a while at Arsenal and needs it really. And like Dom said, Fabianski will probably be our Carling Cup keeper.

Good news overturns bad really.

to be honest, i'm wondering if he has an injury at all, or in fact, it's a way of dropping him without making it public knowledge that he's lost faith in him

you will never know
but i do so hope our other keepers don't let him in again as Arsene has said that he is not first choice and has to compete for his place in the team :thumbup:

i have to say that Lehmann is not even close to Kahn. Kahn is a best goalie in germany and after few latest games lehmann has played, i think jens agree with me. :hahaha:

almunia has done fine so far, lemon must be going his nut seeing he might just have to wait longer to get his place back.

Unfortunately haven’t been there yet as I have heavy family commitments but hope to get there later in the season
Seen it from the outside awesome it is and I understand from a few mates that the atmosphere is building with every game we play there

your playing very well, young boys are hungry and very talented. Thats good compination. we (old boys) are just getting started (hopefully) its going to be interesting season. I think you will end in top 3

Im saying top 2,it will either be them or us to win the league. They've matured alot and we're seeing the best of Fabregas,Adebayor now henry's gone. Almunia's improved since I last saw him aswell..looks better than lehman

we can argue with you whos in top 2, i still believe its you and us. Its a long season and if you really believe that we are out of title, your wrong. A lot of games and in football you know its hard to win every game, its Impossible. Lets see how its going to be, but i say we are in title :nodyes:race with you.

Precisely. But the thought of having a name like Jens Lehmann on the bench is unreal

Hmm. Can't see this being a major affect to that position. Like people have already stated, we've covered that position well and theres no doubt we've got the quality there.
