I'm all hyped up about going now and since I will be posting my little match rant on here, I thought I might as well start off a bit of banter before our well-earned win (I hope :icon_redface:)

I am torn on this game, I am a fan of poolie chick and of Hartlepool but I am actually starting to feel a bit sorry for Leeds United. It's a strange feeling but I do feel that.

Had to hang on a bit, and Casper by all accounts was phenomenal, but the difference was our 2 strikers, scared the shite out of every defence they've come up against so far this season and it seems today was no different.
Beckford's goal was one of the best Leeds goals I've seen for a long long time, absolutely exquisite lob from the edge of the box.
5 wins in a row, best start since 1973, only club in the whole of England still with a 100% record, and we're bottom of the league on zero points.
Only Leeds United eh :D

Oh and your comedian of a keeper, class act, what was he saying when he went walk about, "go on Jermaine try and chip me if you dare" oh how we howled with delight when the ball went sailing over the comedians head, and landed in the net, priceless. :angel:

I'll give you that, you have a decent set of strikers which give you a quick-paced team because all they have to do is belt it to the strikers, and a good goalie. Aside from that, you have nowt going for you.
Your second goal was fantastic, our keeper couldn't have saved it if he tried. Although I dislike the keeper we had playing for us today because he comes too far out of the box way too often in a panic and leaves the defence guarding the goal.
Another thing, your players should really learn what off-side is, and so should the pissing linesman who blatantly ignored your players being offside four times within the space of 10 minutes. Oh, and when your keeper went down and our player went to score, yours handballed it, and what do you know, the ref blatantly ignores it.
I'd say you had us panicking in the first half because, although we had possession most of the first half, we failed to get it out and away from our keeper because you pushed forward. Although we should have AT LEAST made a come-back in the second half because we ran rings around you, with five balls stopped on the line, three hit off the post and two saved by your goalie within the space of five minutes, we technically should have came away with three points.
Anyways, we gained no points from this one game, but you've gained no points from the last five games :nodyes:
Oh, and more to the point:

Yes, that was definitely our problem - failure to make a finish. We had a lot of chances and a couple of them weren't used properly, others were stopped by your goalie or your cheating bastard player :nodyes:
You had two chances in the whole of the game and took them both. Though I wouldn't say it's difficult to score past our goalie who was playing yesterday, Budtz, I can't stand him. Too risky and panics way too much. I think Danny Wilson would be mad not to give Lee-Barrett a chance in goal next match against Swindon at home. I love that game, I'd say Swindon are probably the team who are most like us in the league in every way possible, pace, players, ability etc. Always a good game :D

Your view, all I will say is the vast majority of Leeds are proper fans.
There is obviously a minority of incidents that happen at games, always has and always will.
I'm not here to defend the mindless few.

As for the great club comment, our history speaks for itself, as does the 26,000+ attendances we've had for all our home games so far this season in what is effectively a 31,500 seater stadium due to the East Upper being closed off. Feel free to look back at the end of the season and see how many attendance records have been broken when we've come to town.
Not a great team at the moment, I'll concede that much, but we're most definately still a great club.

well i lived for the first 20 years of my life in the red half of salford about a 2 min walk away from OT, and i rememeber when ferguson came in, and i remember wanting him out when he first came in, im glad he stayed now, so before you start saying im from milton keynes or exeter get your facts, typical leeds fan makes it up as they go along,

you seem to have a learning dificulty, i defend leeds with all these problems you had i even emailed the fa like lots of your fans asked us to do, i have always said leeds have one of the best fan bases, so i dont see your problem.

I think it's so cute that Scum fans go on and on about how we're a shit nothing club yet sing about us every game without fail. Even during their Champions League games you can hear "We All Hate Leeds Scum" by far outweighing any other chant, the only one they seem to put any effort into.
And how you can call Leeds a shithole having lived in Salford is beyond me, even Ronaldo must be sickened by what a dive it is.
And I think you'll find the "fuss" we made was the fact our win got us onto zero points, the fact we were playing Hartlepool was rather insignificant. You should probably get over it now though.
