Bristol Rovers 0-3 Leeds United

Leeds move out of relegation zone for the first time this season with an emphatic victory against a Bristol Rovers side that had not lost a game since March.

Jermaine Beckford opened the scoring with an clever finish on 9 minutes, Kandol doubled the advantage with 15 minutes to go, and Beckford made it safe with his second goal of the game in stoppage time.

Leeds had to withstand a large amount of pressure from the home side throughout the game, but it was the visitors who created the most chances and ultimately ended up comfortable winners.

The result takes Leeds to within one win of equalling their best ever start to a season (7 wins in 1973), and ensures that their 100% record stays intact for another 8 days at least.

F**king amazing stuff, would never have dreamed we'd still be 100% after our first 6 games given the shite excuse for a summer we've had, but Dennis Wise has worked damn-near miracles since coming here. Kandol and Beckford once again showing themselves to be arguably the best strikeforce in the division, Carole appears to have been a real threat down the wing again, and our defence stayed solid against a continued amount of pressure (or at least, that's how it looked on the text updates :animatedfear: :hahaha:).

Above Forest now as well, who'd have thought THAT when our 15 points were whisked away? :yikes:

We are the Champions, Champions of League One :gaydance: :nodyes:

People have had their laughs at the expense of Leeds United and what's happened to you, but fair play for the great start you have made. You've got to hand it to everybody at the club.:thumbup1:

It's the laughs that spur us on, it all adds to the seige mentality Dennis Wise has built up around the place.

As a journalist wrote the other week (I think it was in the Sun): Kick Leeds United and they kick back. Harder.

Quality, its great to see you doing so well, hopefully you can keep this up. You have more to prove than any other team in the league.

Aye it's weird, the deduction was so unjust, so corrupt and so shite, and yet we've managed to turn it to our advantage and use it to devestating effect!

I wonder if Mawhinney's still got that smug grin on his face right now?

Just seen the goals on Sky Sports News:

What a f**king goal Beckford's second (our 3rd) is! The man's clearly decided to continue the "F**k off to the Football League" spirit by dropping out of their Goal of the Season competition and running his own! :yikes:

Right, I know I've already said this twice, but that goal is UNBELIEVABLE. First and second ones weren't too shabby either. If you guys keep this form up you'll be back in the Premiership in no time.

Oh and Tresor Kandol looks like he's really good in front of goal... Reminds me of Danny Dichio, except not injured...

Funny thing is they both looked completely out of their depth last season. Kandol wasn't helped by the abuse he got from parts of the crowd, and Beckford to be fair had jumped up about 5 divisions when he signed for us, but pre-season (and a loan to Scunthorpe for Beckford) appear to have done them both a world of good.

Both now have 5 goals in the opening 6 games, and have succeeded in scaring the shit out of every defence they've come up agains this season, even Portsmouth had a job containing them when we played them in the cup.

If they keep this up it'll only be a matter of time before they're mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Smith and Viduka as great Leeds United strike pairings.

What a team, what a performance, it was easier than against the Monkey Hangers. Bring on Boxing Day, we might be challenging at the right end of the season then.

What do you think Poolie and Macy Bartons Left Thumb :roflmao:
