1 - 2 , Citys unbeaten home record is broken and tottenham get there first away win. What a surprise. Surely its time for Pearce to go after todays tactics. Samaras is a waste of 6 million quid (must change my signature) i did hope he would come good but it doesnt look like its going to happen. He persisted with Claudio Reyna who was always ten paces behind the game, there was a God when eventually he got injured and Pearce had no choice but to sub him. Stevie Ireland was the best player on the pitch why Pearce wont give him the chance is beyond me another goal by Barton was a positive though. Jordon was to slow at left back and our left side was a real weak link.
The board have to show some guts and sack Pearce as otherwise it will be too late and we shall be in the championship, if i was looking to invest in a club i wouldnt give Pearce my money as he cant be trusted has bought a load of duffers.
From a Spurs perspective they played well, kicked it about really well and played down the middle, running rings round our lot. Tommy Huddlestone was cracking as well, hes a big bloke for a midfielder but showed some quality touches. Robinson had a quiet first half but made some good stops in the second half, however his kicks werent up to much.
(thats my account of the game, slightly bias i know, but im a depressed City fan at the minute)
Surprised Robbo ain't been on here yet
I wonder if this is a turn for Spurs? they were currently playing good in the UEFA Cup and then playing rubbish on the weekends in the EPL. But with an away win, I just wonder..
I see Huddlestone is shining for Spurs now.

that would be funny, city in the championship where they belong, along with arsenal and newcastle

Why's that? were a quality team, wasn't long ago, well the previous two seasons that Man Utd were shit, your just having a good spell atm ;)
Just shows how quickly things can turn around in football, Pearce was being touted as a potential England manager last season and now facing the boot from City.

Id hate to say it but its where we will end up and if we do go down we are sunk. Its a tough division to get out of now.
Tottenham are on a good spell at the minute as well they showed that yesterday. We never do well against them there are bogey team.
I think that Samaras should change career. football aint for him.
as for Huddlestone i think it wont be long before he is in the England set up, quality little player.
Seen the replays and there was no dive by Barton Malbranque bought him down so we should have had a penalty but oh well, the games over now.

At the end of the day it should have been a penalty, but City didn't deserve a point

Checking up on me quite often heh.
Anyway, Huddlestone is a legend. and I can see Jenas rotting away on the bench now.
You didn't deserve to only lose 2-1, 5-1 at the smallest :p you got off lucky like Dinamo Bucharest.

I find it fun to read and hear Tottenham's glory and then a week later you loose badly to a team like Reading :p

All i know is City will be mashed by bolton next weekend.
Spurs weren't that improved. Great strike form Huddlestone but they should have had the match tied up much earlier
