Crawley's appeal against a six-point penalty imposed by the Blue Square Premier has been dismissed by the Football Association, according to BBC SCR.

Crawley were punished for breaching financial regulations during the summer but appealed to the FA in a bid to overturn the punishment handed out by the league.

The ruling will see Crawley drop from eighth in the Blue Square Premier table to sixteenth.

Crawley Town co-owner Chas Majeed was "absolutely gutted".

Majeed told the Crawley Observer: "We were confident that we would win, but now it's cost us even more money.

"We've just got to get on with winning games now and see if we can win those points back."

Too right they reject it the Majeeds are nothing but crooks and push their luck with everything they can. If they had allowed it then they would have had to give leeds some points back.
