New MOTM Nominiation System

From today we will be using the old system that we used to use. Simply the admins will nominate 5 people on the 15th of the month. Then it will be up to the members to vote for the best member of this current month.

I would suggest to leave the voting till the end of the month but if you are totally confident on your decision then you can vote on the 15th of the month once all the 5 nominations have been decided.

Enjoy, hopefully it will be fairer than the old system which was decided "in-house".

Would it be possible to incorporate staff into the poll somehow? Maybe members could select some of the candidates?

I don't think having a staff one would be very good. Just a members one for the time being. Also at the moment only admins can nominate people. There is no way to have only admins nominate on the members and members nominate on the staff nominations. Its either one of the other so the mod would have to be modified so each poll (nomination) would have different permissions.

I think we should leave it as it is for the time being, maybe the beginning of the new year we could look at changing things.
