Attendances are down a wopping 1000 from last season due to his shite football. Bring in Martin Allen :D

Are you a Notts County supporter then?
Are you a Notts County supporter then?
Yep.
Heres some names being thrown around:
Ian Atkins
Keith Curle
Ray Graydon
Adrian Heath
Paul Jewell
Mike Newell
Stan Ternant
Mark Wright
People seem to want Martin Allen, or McParland
I'd love Martin Allen tbh. Or Gregory:thumbup:
I would say Paul Jewell would be good, or Mike Newell maybe of the ones on that list. You could have them both one as manager and the other the assistant, the Newell brothers.:nodyes:
Problem is Paul Jewell wont come to Notts County! He's got sense

You never know, he who dares wins.:thumbup1:
Haha. Classic Del Boy
Indeed, everyone's a winner.:nodyes:
Shut up you saucy old git. :D

Right Mr Wolfben, just to support your Div 2 rap, who is the favourite to take over the reins of the County?
Who do you want?
Why?
What changes will the new boss have to make?

Ian Mcparland - see other thread.
Who i want are unrealistic. Martin Allen would be my choice, but he won't come. If I were Notts I'd ask around, see who we could get. McParland is a risk.
He will have to play the ball on the fucking ground... something we havn't seen pre-Thommo! Crowd levels will have to increase.... pre-thommo 5000's, now high 3000's, not acceptable. Get them strikers scoring. Will have to qualify for the playoffs, or at least get close. The team on paper isnt bad, but we need Edwards back.

I know of Steve Thompson from his non league playing days at Boston United, he played against Mossley many times. He wasn't rated as a manager by a lot of fans was he?
No he wasn't. From the moment he was appointed he was never gonna be a fan favourite unless we went up.
He had a spell previously at Meadow Lane when he was an assistant, and that spell was horrible. Fans still remember that. Credit to him, he put in 150%, he made the most of it he could. He established a squad for us from scratch, on paper we have the best side we've seen in years. His tactical sense was atrocious though, its what let him down. I firmly believe he would make a quality scout, as he has eye for a good player.
