Yeah, season-ticket holder there :p
It is a fairly wierd ground I admit, and like you said, quite traditional with the main stand and the terracing underneath.
Feel sorry for the 100 or so that travelled up yesterday, you were rewarded with a crap match played by 2 very crap teams...
Wasn't too bad an away day, although the quality of football was abysmal. We also got let down by the ref who disallowed a perfectly good goal but no-one really deserved to win.
Nice drinking in the aptly named Bee-Hive (I also realised their was a pub called the Griffin in the town centre). Does good bitter on the tap can't remember the name of the beer but something like Thilxtons.
Atmosphere was predictabely good, because we'd travelled so far and only losing 2-0 is quite a good result for us. Although your fans were quiet even at 2-0 up.
Really nice stadium, stewards didn't care we were standing up, and it had alot of character, probably my favourite one I've been to, except maybe Wycombe's. Oh yeah we had 180 fans officially.

Theakstons? Yeah the Beehive is fairly good. The Griffin is in the town centre 2mile up the road, its a big place but fairly overpriced. Its normally a pub for both Carlisle and away fans but when Millwall came up, it was just Millwall only since there was 500 of them up drinking in there.
And, the noise made by our fans used to always come from the section next to the away fans which made the overall atmosphere better but... it was all the chavs that sat there that cause bother so they decided to make that half of the stand adult-prices so all the troublemakers have stopped going, hence the poor level of noise made in the stand you were in. The covered terrace behind the goal is probably the noisiest now, just the accoustics in the roof ruin it...
I also sold a Santa hat in the Beehive for £5 to some idiot!!!
