Spurs are currently playing against Getafe. They are trailing 2-1 with less than 10 minutes to go."A number of major news sources are running with the line that Martin Jol is set to leave /sacked after the match against Getafe. If his tenure ends with defeat then it will be a very sad finale for the Dutchman." (BBC)

Yes i'm speaking to an insider and:
they've agreed severance terms apparently
It's confirmed, he has been sacked, or has he resigned?

I doubt bringing in a new manager in the middle of the season will change things straight away, Jol's probably been one of Tottenham's best. Shame it didnt work out this season when the expectations were high

Yeah everyone knew it was going to happen. Wonder where Jol will go.
Boro should sack Pinochio and hire Jol.

I am actually sad to see him be sacked. I like him as a manager, and as a person. He made tottenham half worth playing, and brought in a lot of English talent, including some from the lower leagues. I suspect he'l go to the vacant spot at Ajax, but i hope he's back in the prem at some point. Spurs have a good squad, but ever since the club officiald met with juande ramos, i think the players always thought he was going to leave so didn't put in 100%
Good decision by Spurs to sack him, he needed to go anyway.

Yeah, the players, fans and board all lost confidence in him. He has done well with them previous to this season.
Every fair-minded football supporter should be condemning the shambolic way in which Spurs have treated Martin Jol.
Wycombe fan! Welcome to the forum....
We definetly need more lower league members. As long as you dont mention last years carling cup ;)
