Liverpool have confirmed Jermaine Pennant (http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/squad/pennant/) is to undergo surgery this weekend on a stress fracture of his right tibia. Club spokesman Ian Cotton said: "For the last eight weeks Jermaine has undergone intensive treatment at Melwood between matches for the injury.

"But following an acute exacerbation of the problem during the game against Besiktas it has now been decided he requires surgery.

"We anticipate Jermaine will be out for approximately 10 weeksNicked off the Liverpool site. I cant believe it! Another injury! Although I personally hate Pennant's attitude he can put out a good performance on his day. Thats two of our key players out now. Agger and Pennant :(

Pennant and Kewell, 2 of a kind, great talents both of them, but not totally committed, Liverpool would be better off getting shut of both of them IMHO:nod:

i think tags damaged his injured lol..but i know tags have been removed tho....
