Good news to hear. Hes been a gem for Arsenal and the point that he wants to fight for his position is all the more great to hear.

great pro but we have some great mid-fielders right now dont think he will have many games in the main 11 for the rest of the season. I see him gone in the summer.

yeah i agree, and what with his age, he'll only be offered a 1 year contract, so he might want to get out while he can, a great servant to the club, he just seems to be a weak link when going forward, and the pace of the game seems to be overtaking him slightly.
