This is another run of the mill rumour. What strikes me is the fact that teams that have deep pockets insist in buying talent instead of nurturing it. With that amount of cash for one player, you can develop (or improve) an incredible academy, or get young talented players that have the potential of being more (like Arsenal does).

Frankly, I don't see Ronaldinho doing much in the EPL if he were to come.

exactly, at the moment everyone is going on about how foreign players are affecting the national team, but its the overpayment of players that could be used on deveoping younger players.

Summed it up really.

60 million is a hella' lot of money for a player who is worth a good sum, but certainly not that much. Thats ludicrous!

I I'm not sure he'd fit into Chelsea's style of football either.

you don't realise how much money is involved in top flight football, till you get to the lower leagues, where £1000 is a massive price for anything.
They don't have a particular big pool of kids to work with being in Chelsea, anyone not familar with the area should know the nearest green area is probably Regents Park. Suffice to say they have to go out to area's like Surrey and West London. Which is already being tapped up by clubs closer to that geographic region. And know they now that the club are not big on using kids, they are not as ready to commit to their youth set up, i mean they held trials via Sky One, on football idol, and the guy only won because he was a left back and that's what they were looking for at the time, i should now i kept a shut out against him and his 5 a side team
