It isn't April the 1st. This isn't a simonutd post. Scott Fitzgerald had been appointed manager of Brentford FC!!!
He's done a great job as Youth Team manager, getting to the 5th round of the cup and drawing with a strong Newcastle team, but he has no experience of league football apart from the last four games (he was caretaker manager) of which we lost 3 of them and drew one, scoring a grand total of 1 goal. I don't actually think it was a bad decision, I just think no-one else wanted the job.
It's not all bad news though. Although is track record isn't great, last two matches the players have been putting in battling performances, something Brentford fans are not used to seeing and could have won both games.
Still I can't see us staying up this season:mad:
