We begun the campaign in 88th place in the world rankings and have climbed up to 13th. England started in the top ten and have dropped a few places.

Walter Smith said his job was to get us climbiong the rankings and build a team. This has happened. We will qualify for the world cup. If England don't get their act together they wont.

I think Carson had a poor game, he was at fault for the first goal, and he never really recovered, his kicking was poor, and he was too slow to react to the 3rd goal, when he honestly had enough time to make a save there. Wayne Bridge should retire from English Football, he was a ******* joke. his crossing was piss poor, his long throws, were poor, his tackling was criminal, like that tackle near the end that put it into the players path. Crouch played ok, but there was no-one making any intelligent runs on to his knockdowns, and we really missed the class of Rooney and Owen up front, but more importantly we have proved that without Terry and Ferdinand, we have no world class defenders. I really wish there was 1 British team i could support at the Euro's, but instead i'll have to follow the team with the most Arsenal players, which could be quite a few.

I was surprised they came back to be honest. I stopped watching after the first half. The 4-5-1 formation killed them, they should have started off with a 4-4-2. But I love the comments by the Croatia coach, "it doesn't matter the tactics England used, we were a better team" (or along those lines).

If we had a different manager the result would have been different, different players would have been playing, the formation, the tactics and everything would have been different. The FA just go for the same type of manager, a quiet manager who picks the same players and does the same formation, Sven was ****, McClaren was ****, may as well bring Bryan Robson in haha.
