Leeds 0-1 Hereford,
So a loss for leeds, First round, lucky enough theres a second one, Fancy loosing to team a league lower, Herefors scored after 3mins and should have scored a few more, Leeds were lucky if you ask me
Slight embaressment for them but, like us I suspect they'd rather get promoted than compete in a competition they're never likely to win.

I'm sure promotion is far more important than the FA cup, but this may affect the psyche of the players :animatedfear:
Hope so :nodyes:
We could do with them hitting a really crappy patch for a while

Didn't your lot lose to Coventry in the Carling Cup? At least our team wasn't made up of 6 internationals and the products of a "world-famous" youth academy.
Oh well, I could give a ****, said right at the start of the season the cup games would just give us more games to pick up injuries and suspensions, now we can focus 100% on promotion.

our team was a youth squad, not a first team

Not really, Nani, Anderson, O'Shea, Brown and Carrick all played, Nani on his own is probably worth our entire squad three times over.

Bad loss for Leeds, but the best team on the night won.
Shame for us, because a win followed by a home tie v The Monkey Hangers would have given us an ideal opportunity to win that one and maybe draw a money spinning 3rd round opponent.
I am an eternal optimist, but also a realist, Leeds United are not at this moment capable of winning the FA cup, but I do not agree with all this crap and comments like "well we can concentrate on the league now" I believe that if you are in a competition you go all out to win every game possible.
I ain't knocking Big Den, but I was a little disappointed with our line up on the night. Still best of luck to Hereford, a hard, fit outfit, they will give The Monkey Hangers a game:nod:

We can focus on the cups when we're secure in the Premiership again. That has to be the main focus right now, we haven't got the squad to be able to risk getting injuries and suspensions through FA Cup and JPT games so I'd much rather us go out of them early and really push for promotion than get to the 3rd or 4th round and not even make the playoffs.
dont worry Leeds, forgot FA Cup....do for champion!:thumbup1:
