McLeish to be new Birmingham boss???

According to the BBC "Birmingham will unveil Alex McLeish as the club's new manager on Wednesday, BBC Sport understands.
McLeish is set to leave his post as Scotland boss to take up the job at the Premier League club, who have called a news conference for Wednesday morning. "

well Sky Sports was saying that Scotland wont let him leave, and someone on tele said "He should stay with Scotland as they are going somewhere and theres a lot to play, He would be stupid to go to birmingham, who are just there to make up numbers"

lol i thought that was funny, i think he should stay where he is

why go to a club that are always going to toil around the bottom or at best mid table he will become another casualty of the rich clubs getting richer and the likes of brum scraping around in the **** ,really beyond me

Another ex-hun manager deserting Scotland. And giving up Scotland for Birmingham(especially after Bruce chucked them to go to Wigan)is a slap in the face to the tartan army. My advice is stay down there Alex, because you won't be welcome up here for some time.

don't know if ya seen the news but there was a thing about the fans view and one guy said this is nothing like the walter saga as Mcleish left after the campaign and he wasn't the traitor that Wattie was , sorry but one is no different from the other if they had no intention of being there for a resonable haul they shouldn't have taken the fooking job none of em but they ain't traitors it's what is called doing whts best for yerself and i can see both sides

It look like this wasn't going to happen but it did. I don't see anything wrong with McLeish go for B'ham. He did a great job for Scotland, just hope the next manager improves on that.

As a goodwill gesture you should give me a load of points as i would have bet big on it being McLeish.
